Welcome to two new(ish) CL News editors

We would like to formally welcome two new people to the Collaborative Librarianship News team.  Anna joined us in 2012, and Carrie just came on board in the last couple of months.

2012annapoppMy name is Anna Popp. My area of expertise is Communications, but my library and life experience stretches beyond mere public relations. My communications experience predates my library experience, beginning with my first undergraduate internship in a marketing department. I’ve been a Talent Buyer, sold ad space for print, and served as a Marketing Specialist and trainer for a project management organization. I have 10 years experience in libraries. I have worked in Technical Services, Circulation, administrative support, Adult Services / Reference, adult programming and have served as representative for collective bargaining. I’m also Adjunct Faculty for Simmons GSLIS-West.

carriemoranCarrie Moran is currently a Regional Campus Librarian for the University of Central Florida. She graduated from Drexel University in 2011, and worked as the Instruction/Reference Librarian at Cleveland Community College in Shelby, NC prior to her current position. She is active in ACRL’s Distance Learning Section, and the new ALA Sustainability Round Table. She is also the Reviews Editor for the Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning. Outside the library, you can find Carrie running or being active outdoors in another capacity.
