Faculty/librarian collaborations

There is a new article in C&RL News by Larissa Gordon from Arcadia University.  She wrote “Partnering for Success: Using Mini Grants to Foster Faculty/Librarian Collaborations.”  This is from the introduction:

Collaborative projects can help to enhance the image of the library, create enthusiastic library champions among the faculty, and further the success of an information literacy program. However, the truth is that in-depth collaboration is not always easy to achieve, which is why Arcadia University’s Landman Library made the decision to institute an internally funded Information Literacy Collaborations grant program in fall 2008.
