Collaboration in Teaching

Deborah Garson and Eileen McGowan wrote the article, “Collaboration as a Model: Co-Teaching a Graduate Course,” for Information Outlook. The new article is not online yet. (Once it goes online, then a subscription or SLA membership will be required). However, it is in print in volume 14, issue 1 (the January/February 2010 issue) on pages 17-21.

Embedding a librarian in the classroom helped students understand the value of information literacy and the place of the literature review in their research–and ultimately made them better researchers.
